“NotCompatible” is the longest running mobile botnet malware observed yet. Initially it was used to harvest emails on the device to generate spam campaigns.
But now, it’s evolving, capable of click-fraud, brute force attacks and shell controls capable of running commands on the device.
This is no surprise, as the mobile device world has grown exponentially over the last few years. For some, Android and IOS devices are their only devices.
